discovery flight

What to expect
Our Discovery Flight consists of a one hour experience where you will be acquainted with our top of the line aircraft. We will go over what it takes to fly this wonderful machine and take off towards Emerald Bay while practicing some touch and go's on the water, low flying and also high altitude flight in Emerald Bay if the weather permits. You will have approximately 40 minutes of air time and will get to soar above Tahoe's beautiful turquoise waters. This flight will fulfill anyones bucket list and offers exciting views you'll remember forever! If you're adventurous, our FAA certified instructor will let you take the reins for part of this adventure, allowing you to fly Lake Tahoe's only amphibious powered hang glider. All flights are instructional and this time will count towards any pilot license in the USA.

Recommended
Our Introductory Flight is our recommended experience and will last approximately 1.5 hours. Here you will have a full 65 minutes of flight time covering everything of the Discovery flight as well as introduction to what these aircraft can do. We will fly into Emerald Bay weather permitting and exit to the north along the west shore of Lake Tahoe where you can see the spectacular colors of the turquoise lake! This flight will allow you to see the most spectacular parts of the lake from above and you will be hooked for life! Add a photo or video package to this flight and you will have memories that will last a lifetime. A truly unforgettable flight! All flights are instructional and this time will count towards any pilot license in the USA.

What to expect
Let's take it to the next level! Here is your chance to try powered hang gliding around Lake Tahoe! A complete expedition of 90min flight time where you will be acquainted to what it takes to fly in this challenging environment while absorbing the spectacular views. You will have the opportunity to see Sand Harbor State Park, Marlette Lake, Emerald Bay, Cave Rock, and even the Carson Valley if the winds and weather permits! This is a spectacular experience and one that you will never forget! You get take the controls during the flight if you wish. All flights are instructional and this time will count towards any pilot license in the USA.
